April 13, 2010 – The JDSU T-BERD/MTS-6000A Multi-Services Application Module (MSAM), with recently announced new J-Profiler, Datacom and Diphase features, has added additional testing capabilities. The industry’s most compact, powerful 10-Gigabit tester for Carrier-grade Ethernet and Internet Protocol (IP) services now includes:

J-QuickCheck performs a quick continuity test prior to running an RFC Script to eliminate performing a test that will not execute properly.
PDH Jitter (RX and TX) delivers a low-cost, highly portable PDH Jitter solution that simplifies Jitter field testing.
DS0 testing (ISDN PRI, T1 Signaling, VF Testing, and Fractional T1) enhances the troubleshooting capability of voice-bearing T1 circuits, thereby helping technicians support Ethernet to T1 services more efficiently with a single tester.
NextGen SONET enhancements (GFP Alarm Insertion, SONET Alarm Insertion, Differential Delay, Full LCAS Protocol, Path Overhead Capture, and LCAS Protocol Capture) provide additional troubleshooting tools so that technicians can verify the proper operation of Ethernet carried in virtually concatenated containers and tributaries across SONET/SDH networks.
